A board of five elected officers and all appointed officers meet monthly to carry out chapter business. Prior to 2008, terms of office ran from June to June following the fiscal year used by the Society. In 2008 the Society switched to using the calendar year. The Berkeley STC has followed suit. Elections are now held in October of each year, and terms of office match the calendar year.
