Email job list for job seekers

The Berkeley, East Bay, and San Francisco STC chapters maintain a free email jobs list, announcing the availability of Bay Area technical communication jobs. Jobs posted to the list are submitted directly to the list by employers and recruiters.

To subscribe to the jobs list, follow the instructions below:

1. Log into the email account where you want to receive job leads.

2. Send email to STCJOBSBA-L-request@stc-berkeley.org . Leave the subject line blank, and type the following command in the first line of the message body:

   subscribe

   Soon you will receive an email welcoming you to the list and confirming your subscription.

3. Save the welcome message for future reference. It contains instructions for unsubscribing from the list.

We make every attempt to ensure the jobs submitted to the list are accurate and up to date. If you have concerns about a posting, please contact Jeanie Egbert (employment@stc-berkeley.org). Your feedback can help ensure that the list remains useful to subscribers.

Email job submissions for employers/recruiters

The Berkeley, East Bay, and San Francisco STC chapters maintain a free email submission system for those who wish to announce job leads in the San Francisco Bay Area. Announcements go to technical writers, editors, illustrators, trainers, desktop publishers, web designers and other technical communication professionals who voluntarily subscribe to the list.

To submit a job lead (or if you have any questions), send email to postinginstrux@stc-berkeley.org. You will receive posting instructions by return email.

The Society for Technical Communication (STC) is a not-for-profit scientific, educational, and charitable organization in the IRS category 501(c)(3). Our IRS identification number is 52-1531340.
