This tried and true information management tool--the table--has anchored data from the time of Ptolemy (2 AD) to the e-world and Web design. This presentation examines the parts of a table, the information analysis for good table design, and features expert commentary on the art behind the science of presenting tabular data. The presentation closes with an example of a table that requires improvement and the revised version, both with supporting commentary.
