Michael Cárdenas is President and Founder of Local Concept, an international corporation with 20 years experience (that’s 140 in dog years!) in technical translation and localization.

Based in San Diego, Michael, who has a J.D., has taken Local Concept from a small translation company to a full-service content management solution corporation servicing clients around the world.

Mr. Cárdenas is an active member of the Localization Industry Standards Association (LISA), the Computer and Electronics Marketing Association (CEMA), the San Diego Software Industry Council (SDSIC), and the American Translators Association (ATA). He serves on the board of the San Diego Chapter of the Society for Technical Communication (STC). He is a frequent speaker at international conferences, government agencies and universities.
