The August 2008 Chapter Meeting
Writing good help requires a knowledge of your customers—their needs, workflows, and learning styles—and the industry awareness to know how to best serve those needs. It also helps to work in an environment that supports you in discovering and serving those needs. In this presentation, Melanie will give you tips on how to gather customer information, good places to research current best-practices in online help, and some suggestions for improving your work environment.
